Reposit combines GridCredits with Tesla home system

Energy management company Reposit Power will combine its GridCredits storage system with the Tesla Powerwall home battery system.

Reposit Power received $445,000 in funding from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency last year to roll out a trial of GridCredits in Canberra, and the company now plans to offer it on a national basis later in the year.

GridCredits works with battery storage to control and store energy, giving consumers access to their own solar power overnight and at peak times. This reduces reliance on the grid and enables consumers to use more renewable energy.

It also allows renewable energy to be sold back into the grid through a system of market bids.
