Through its partnership with Vyro, ActewAGL has secured exclusive access to over 40 EVs for sale to customers through the ActewAGL evHub.
ActewAGL customers can drive away in one of 14 Polestar 2 variants as early as next month, where some electric vehicle brands’ waiting periods elsewhere in Australia exceed six months.

Other models include the Tesla Model 3, MG ZS EV, Nissan Leaf, Hyundai Kona and Kia Niro, available for delivery between now and mid-December.
ActewAGL group manager energy transition products Todd Eagles said, “With significant demand for electric vehicles in the ACT, the biggest barrier to adoption has been supply. Securing access to over 40 vehicles in this market is a win for our customers and sustainability in the region. We are excited to help our customers drive away in an EV sooner.”
Polestar Australia head Samantha Johnson said, “We’re delighted to be supporting ActewAGL and Vyro’s mission to accelerate the shift to sustainable, electric mobility in the ACT. Together, we’ll be able to build a more sustainable future for all.”
This milestone reflects ActewAGL’s position on sustainability and their recently launched sustainability promise, which includes a commitment to help one in four ACT households drive an EV by 2030.
Along with helping customers to purchase an electric vehicle, ActewAGL has secured attractive finance and charging solutions through partners Plenti and JET Charge. In addition, ActewAGL has been expanding and upgrading its EV public charging network in Canberra, with an additional 70 public charging stations due for completion by October 2023.

“ActewAGL is taking a strong position on improving the sustainability of transport, with a commitment to help the local community achieve one in four households with an EV by 2030. By helping customers find, finance and charge an electric vehicle, we aim to give drivers more reasons to switch and adopt faster,” Eagles said.
