Synergy contracts HCL for business process overhaul

HCL has been engaged by Synergy to help them meet the ever-changing demands of providing power to Western Australia.

West Australian energy provider Synergy has awarded an application management service contract to HCL Technologies.

HCL has been engaged to streamline processes and provide a flexible service model for Synergy as it goes forward in an increasingly changeable energy sector.

HCL Technologies senior vice president and country manager for Australia and New Zealand Michael Horton said the energy and utitility sector was operating in an increasingly volatile and uncertain climate.

He said HCL will be able to enhance operational efficiency, control costs and provide a digital platform that will form a stable engine for Synergy moving forward in the new competitive environment.

HCL Techologies is a global IT services company which specialises in business systems.
