Global partnership signals cool future for power generation

South Africa’s Industrial Water Cooling (IWC) and its affiliate AS Cooling Technologies India (ASCTI), have officially joined NEXT COOLING SA of the Nooter/Eriksen group.

“Together, NEXT COOLING, IWC and ASCTI begin a new chapter united by a shared vision of excellence, growth, and a commitment to delivering the most advanced cooling solutions to industry including power generation, mining and minerals processing and other general industries,” the partners said in a statement.

“Our combined capabilities strengthen our competitive position, capitalise on a diverse portfolio of world-class projects, and open new opportunities to market our field erected cooling towers, air-cooled condensers, bulk air coolers and solution/slurry cooling towers in key global markets.”

With a well-established presence in South Africa and Australia through IWC and in India through ASCTI, the group brings decades of expertise and a strong reputation for delivering advanced, reliable industrial cooling solutions.

IWC was recently awarded a contract to design and construct two new pultruded cooling towers for Callide Power Station in Queensland with the support of its sub-contractor UGL.
