Family-owned business celebrates 50 years

Redmond Gary – manufacturer of elevating work platforms for Australia and New Zealand – has celebrated half a century in the energy industry.

The family-owned business established operations on the Gold Coast in 1963, with the company’s first machine – a Model TF13M – delivered to Ulan Electricity (now Essential Energy) in 1994. The company also recently delivered its five-hundreth unit to Ergon Energy.

To commemorate the anniversary, a presentation was made on site to Ergon Energy’s chief executive Ian McLeod by Redmond Gary managing director Andrew Danks and director Gary Danks.
