The Energy Networks Association’s (ENA’s) biennial conference and exhibition will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from Wednesday 18 to Friday 20, May 2016.
As the only conference and exhibition in the market developed by the industry for the industry, participants will have access to the leading thinkers and innovators in technology, service delivery and asset management, and policy and regulation.
Energy Networks 2016 plenary sessions will feature industry leaders across the energy supply chain including network CEOs Ben Wilson (Australian Gas Networks), Paul Adams (Jemena), Merryn York (Powerlink) and Ian McLeod (Ergon Energy). ENA is also delighted to welcome AGL CEO Andrew Vesey and Landis+Gyr president and CEO Americas Prasanna Venkatesan to the agenda, along with a number of other esteemed leaders in the field.
The concurrent program features more than 60 national and international experts from the industry who will discuss the key issues affecting Australia’s energy future. Speakers come from a range of energy network businesses, leading service and technology providers, and research organisations including GreenSync, CSIRO, Siemens, Reposit Power, the Clean Energy Council, Enernoc and Ernst & Young. Topics to be explored include customer engagement, asset management, energy network transformation, regulation and tariffs, embedded generation and metering and grid intelligence.
A new feature of Energy Networks 2016 will be the Operational Best Practice Workshop. Designed specifically for network business line managers and operational staff, this workshop will consider the latest practices and technology in supporting the modern grid.
Workshop sessions will be focused substation modernisation, vegetation management, managing embedded generation on the grid and asset defect identification and reporting.
The Meet the Industry breakfast, which was successfully launched at the 2014 conference, will again be held in 2016, providing exhibitors and sponsors the opportunity to bring invited guests through the Exhibition Hall and network with the sector. Exhibitors will also be welcome to participate in the conference sessions.
