As Australian businesses face increasing pressure to reduce emissions, manage energy costs and navigate mandatory climate reporting requirements, Sustainability Business Live 2026 is positioning itself as one of the country’s leading events focused on practical business outcomes.

Taking place on 3–4 June 2026 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, the event will bring together business leaders, sustainability professionals, energy users, solution providers and industry experts to explore the commercial realities of sustainability, decarbonisation and energy transition.

One of the most anticipated sessions will be The Great Energy Debate, featuring Dr Saul Griffith and Chris Uhlmann in a live, unfiltered discussion on Australia’s energy future.

Scheduled for 10:40am on 3 June, the session will tackle some of the most important questions facing Australian businesses today, including the pace of the energy transition, the costs and opportunities associated with electrification, and the practical challenges of achieving net zero targets. The debate will be moderated by Charlotte Connell from Greenhouse and will include audience participation.

The broader conference has been designed to help organisations make informed business decisions around reducing emissions, managing waste, improving sustainability performance and meeting climate reporting obligations.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from more than 240 speakers, compare technologies and solutions, and gain practical insights that can be applied across operations, procurement, finance, infrastructure and sustainability strategies.
