Victorian wind tower manufacturer to take on 50 new employees

One of Australia’s largest wind tower manufacturers will take on up to 50 new employees, as renewable energy advocates call for a greater focus on domestic production, according to the ABC.

Keppel Prince Engineering, based in Portland, Victoria, has secured a $14 million contract with Goldwind to develop White Rock Wind Farm, which is set to be the largest wind farm in NSW.

Eighty tower sections are required for the project, equating to up to 50 new jobs.
