Tilt Renewables acquires Boco Rock Wind Farm in NSW

Tilt Renewables has entered into binding agreements to acquire a 100% interest in the Boco Rock Wind Farm from EGCO Group and Squadron Energy.

Located in southern NSW, approximately 10km South-West of Nimmitabel in the Snowy-Monaro region, Boco Rock Wind Farm includes the already operating 113MW Stage 1 and the proposed 84MW Stage 2 expansion.

“This strategic acquisition, subject to regulatory approvals, underscores our commitment to growth in NSW,” the company said in a statement.

“This acquisition aligns with our long-term strategy to be the leading wind developer and operator in Australia, and the partner of choice in the renewable energy sector.

“With this acquisition, our operational fleet will grow to 1.8GW. Together with our broader development pipeline, projects like Boco Rock Wind Farm are securing our place as Australia’s leading operator of wind farms.”

Tilt is expected to full ownership of Boco Rock Wind Farm in early 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
