Ken Freestone has been the head of Power Parameters for seven years, taking over the leadership of the company after the management buy-out from Oliver J Nilsen Australia Ltd.

According to Power Parameters, Ken provided fresh marketing insights and direction, which saw the company with its long history of instrumentation for the electrical contracting sector successfully refocus on emerging markets. These included in instrumentation and systems power quality management, high voltage DC marine cable fault location, transmission and distribution and integration of solar PV and wind generation, as well as uninterruptible power for mission-critical applications.

According to the company, Ken’s vision to concentrate in these areas and more recently in electric vehicle charging equipment compliance testing has proven prophetic, gaining recognition from the electrical energy supply sector within the NEM and also in private networks.

Power Parameters’ sales manager Tony Foster has been promoted to the position of general manager.
