Joanne Doyle has been appointed a director of the TasNetworks Board.
Ms Doyle is currently a partner of WLF Accounting and a trustee on the Solicitors’ Trust. She was previously a director of Civil Construction Services Corporation.
TasNetworks’ chairman Dr Dan Norton said the appointment of a second female director is a great step forward in terms of gender diversity.
“Diversity, especially at leadership levels, helps bring new ideas. It is also critical in developing a new corporate culture, which is nearly always required when organisations merge,” Dr Norton said.
“I welcome Ms Doyle to the Board of TasNetworks where she will join the Audit and Compliance Committee. She brings considerable knowledge and experience having worked in this area of work for over 30 years.”
