Former Electric Vehicle Council CEO Behyad Jafari has joined EV operator Splend as its chief growth officer.

Splend CEO Chris King said, “We are thrilled to welcome Behyad to our leadership team. His unparalleled expertise in the EV sector and ability to drive change through complex stakeholder engagements will be instrumental in taking Splend to the next level.

Jafari brings a wealth of experience to Splend, having served as the Electric Vehicle Council (EVC) CEO for eight years. He led significant advancements in Australia’s EV industry during his tenure, including successful campaigns for the New Vehicle Efficiency standards.

As Splend’s Chief Growth Officer, he will be responsible for medium and long-term strategic growth initiatives, working closely with key stakeholders across our infrastructure, government, OEM and platform partners engagement.
