Women in AI Awards Returns in 2022

After a stunning success in Sydney in 2021, the highly anticipated and spectacular invite-only Women in AI (WAI) Awards 2022 Gala Dinner will be held in Melbourne on March 31, 2022 inย The Great Hall at the National Gallery of Victoria.

The awards now feature 14 award categories; and are judged on the following:

  • Innovation
  • Leadership and inspiring potential
  • Global potential and impact
  • Ability for the AI solution to do good for the community and its citizens.

2022’s new categories include recognition for AI in Climate, AI in Creative Industries and AI in Sport; and there will also be recognition for women making an impact in AI via the Trailblazer Award.

In addition to these new categories, the Awards have increased the prize money on offer, with $30,000 to be shared among the Grand Award winners.

Partnership

After delivering an exceptional and quality inaugural WAI Awards 2021 event, WAI is delighted to partner again with Andra Mรผller, Director of Jewelrock to produce the Women in AI Awards 2022 Australia-New Zealand.

Supporting efforts is Angela Kim, Head of Analytics and AI at Teachers Health, who is acting as both WAI Australia Ambassador and Education Head for WAI Global.
