“Renée will lead TasNetworks through an important period of investment, including major transmission developments that will strengthen Tasmania’s energy future. She has the full support of the TasNetworks Board behind her.”
Since joining TasNetworks in 2021, Anderson has held executive responsibility for people, safety, environment, community, and stakeholder engagement. She was appointed interim CEO in June 2026 upon the departure of previous CEO Seán Mc Goldrick.
Anderson said, “Leading TasNetworks means leading an organisation that touches the lives of every Tasmanian. Our people keep the lights on, respond when storms hit, and deliver infrastructure needed for Tasmania’s energy future.
“The executive team and I are committed to TasNetworks being a place where our people feel safe, valued and connected, and we’ll continue to invest in the culture and environment that makes that possible.”
