SmartestEnergy will strategically make renewable energy available to commercial and industrial customers throughout Australia.

New England Solar is ACEN Australia’s first operational project and, at full development, the 720MW project will be one of Australia’s largest solar projects participating in the National Electricity Market (NEM).

SmartestEnergy CEO Robert Owens said, “I’m truly proud of our agreement with ACEN Australia and the essential role it plays in advancing the sustainable energy sector.

“ACEN’s approach sets a high standard, showcasing how involving local communities from the outset not only enriches renewable projects but also contributes to a more inclusive and prosperous net zero future for all.”
