Solar provider ShineHub has announced a new partnership with Q CELLS as the preferred panel provider for their Community Solar Program under the South Australian battery scheme.

The program will give South Australian households access to Q CELLS solar panels thanks to a variety of payment options including its new lease-to-own model as well as up-front payment.

To ease the financial burden, ShineHub offers a solar plan, which can reduce power bills by up to half, making Q CELLS premium solar panels easier and more affordable to access.

ShineHub, which is part of Q CELLS quality vendor network, Q.FAMILY, will introduce the high-performance Q.PLUS-G4.3 to the program with an option to upgrade to the more premium Q.PEAK DUO-G5, which is the newest and most powerful module powered by their award-winning Q.ANTUM DUO technology.

ShineHub co-founder Alex Georgiou says, “It’s always been important for us to offer our customers high quality, premium solar panels at an affordable price.

“Our platform streamlines the installation process and makes sure that people are only paying for what actually goes on their roof, rather than the ‘fluff’ that usually goes with it.

“The partnership with Q CELLS means that our customers no longer have to sacrifice quality for price, as no other installers in South Australia can beat us on cost with this type of product.”

ShineHub offers customers two pathways to purchase, with information events starting from February 25 until the end of March.

Customers who attend the information events will be offered priority installation, however, for those who can’t attend the events, ShineHub is also offering one-on-one phone consultations.

Hanwha Q CELLS Head of Australia Peter Bae said he is delighted that all South Australian households can now access Q CELLS’ world-leading technology in an affordable way.

“With the South Australian Government’s $200 million rebate and loan scheme for home battery systems coming online in October 2018, interest in household solar systems is booming in South Australia,” Mr Bae said.

“The partnership with ShineHub is an important step in making sure that all South Australia’s have the opportunity to access high quality, German engineered solar panels.”

The ShineHub offering comes off the back of another history-making South Australian project powered by Q CELLS. South Australia’s first-ever multi-site, battery powered residential development will be fitted with Q CELLS panels, showing an appetite from South Australians for higher-performance and higher-quality solar products thanks to the Government’s new $200 million solar battery rebate and loan scheme.

Q CELLS was also recently awarded the “Top Brand PV” seal by internationally recognized research institute EuPD Research for the fourth year in a row.
