SA Power Networks CEO thanks employees after bushfires

Following tragic bushfires, SA Power Networks’ work–as with many other distributors across Australia–to fully restore the entire power network in both the Adelaide Hills and Kangaroo Island continues.

SA Power Networks CEO Rob Stobbe has thanked all employees for their efforts since the fires began in December.

“I acknowledge that our people are having to deal with many confronting things, particularly those from our depot at Kingscote who live and work on the Island,” he said.

Included in the message was a video filmed on Kangaroo Island last week that clearly reflects the scale of the event and the rebuilding efforts required.

“The … video demonstrates not only the challenge but the strength of our response and the gratitude of people affected,” Mr Stobbe noted.

“Thanks to all those who have worked directly or indirectly in responding to these terrible fires. Your efforts are truly appreciated.”
