RCR Tomlinson has been selected as the preferred EPC contractor for two major projects totalling approximately $260 million.
The contract involves the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and operation and maintenance (O&M) for the Clermont Solar Farm and the Wemen Solar Farm, both being developed by Wirsol Energy.
The 110MW Wemen Solar Farm, located near Mildura in Victoria, is set to begin construction by the end of the year.
The Clermont Solar Farm, located in central Queensland, is a 150MWac project to be completed in two 75MW phases.

The contracts are currently being negotiated and are subject to financial close, which is expected to be completed by the end of November.
Subject to final contracts, RCRโs scope of work will include engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the Solar Farms.
Once commissioned, RCR will provide O&M services for an initial period of two years, with various option terms for up to a further 13 years.
