Following Australia’s aid commitment to support Ukraine’s energy infrastructure with NOJA Power electrical equipment, the first batch of OSM Reclosers has now been successfully installed at KharkivOblEnergo—a major utility servicing the Kharkiv region.

This milestone marks a significant step in restoring and modernising Ukraine’s medium-voltage distribution networks, which have faced severe disruption due to ongoing conflict.

The installation was carried out in collaboration with NOJA Power’s Ukrainian distributor, Recloser LLC, whose technical team provided on-site support and commissioning expertise.

The Australian-made OSM Reclosers are designed to automatically detect and isolate faults, significantly improving network resilience and reducing outage durations. This performance is an essential feature in a region where rapid response to grid disturbances is critical.

NOJA Power group managing director Neil O’Sullivan said, “We are proud to see our equipment contributing to the rebuilding of Ukraine’s power infrastructure. The installation at KharkivOblEnergo is a testament to the strength of international cooperation and the resilience of the Ukrainian people.”

This deployment follows earlier successful installations in other regions such as Chernihiv and Dnipro, where NOJA Power’s reclosers have already demonstrated their value in restoring power reliability.
