ZNX Network Services Victoria (ZNX) has renewed its operations and maintenance contract with United Energy. Worth approximately $475 million, the contract is for a period of three years with an option to extend for a further two years, effectively taking it to June 2021.

This contract covers the 24/7 operations, maintenance and augmentation of the northern region of the UE electricity distribution network in Victoria, covering more than 315,000 customers.

ZNX general manager Kevin McGrath said the company has worked hard to foster the values of safety and innovation through its Partnership with UE since 2012, and is excited by the introduction of mobile technology, improved GIS technology and Six Sigma methodologies.

โ€œWe are pleased to have the opportunity to continue the work weโ€™ve started with UE, and to ensure UEโ€™s customers continue to get the most reliability from the electricity network at the lowest possible cost,โ€ he said.

ZNX and Zinfra are delivery brands of Zinfra Group. Zinfra Group was launched in 2012 and delivers engineering, maintenance and construction services to the utility infrastructure sectors. The Zinfra brand delivers design and construction services, while ZNX delivers operations, maintenance and program management services.
