Innovation psychologist and best-selling author Dr Amantha Imber has just been announced as a keynote speaker at the National Electric Energy Conference (EECON) taking place in Melbourne from November 22-23, 2017.
Amantha is the founder and inventiologist of Australia’s leading innovation consultancy Inventium.
Inventium has been recognised as one of Australia’s fastest growing companies in the BRW Fast 100 list, and was also awarded the BRW Client Choice Award for Best Management Consultancy in Australia.
Amantha is also the co-creator of the Australian Financial Review’s Most Innovative Companies list, an annual list that Inventium compiles, ranking Australia’s top innovators.
Her thoughts have appeared in Harvard Business Review, The Huffington Post, Forbes, and Fast Company and she is the author of two best-selling books: The Creativity Formula and The Innovation Formula.
So why is an inventiologist speaking at an energy conference?
“While EECON is a proudly technical conference the theme is Collaboration and Innovation: Adapting Today’s Grid for Tomorrow’s Future and so it seemed fitting to bring Amantha in to both challenge and inspire people to think outside the box,” chair of the conference committee Clare Paynter said.
Amantha will kick off the conference with her presentation Turning people into innovation dynamos to inspire individuals and organisations to think differently about tackling the challenges we face to secure Australia’s energy future.
Amantha will also moderate the keynote panel discussion with:
- Audrey Zibelman, CEO, Australian Energy Market Operator
- Elisabeth Brinton, Executive General Manager, AGL Energy
- Kevin Kehl, Executive General Manager, Strategy and Business Development, Powerlink
- Lyndon Frearson, Managing Director & Principal Consultant, Ekistica
With a stellar line-up like this EECON 2017 is set to provide you with broad range of ideas and perspectives that will leave you wanting more.
