GCL offers solution for Australian ground power station

GCL System Integration Technology (GCLSI) has announced a partnership with Australian power station developer, APSU Power, offering one-stop solutions for a 5MW photovoltaic (PV) ground power station project.

The project is being developed and invested by APSU Power, and GCL-SI will offer its 2.5MW Super Block Solar solution, a power generation unit built to supply energy to solar power plants.

“The cooperation with APSU Power marks the first time we have sold standardization solutions for power stations,” GCL-SI vice-president James Hu said.

“It’s also a major step for GCL-SI towards becoming a player in mainstream markets of developed countries.

“Facing fierce competition from European players, we have won not only the bid but the respect and recognition of clients.”

Construction will begin in coming weeks with the whole project expected to be completed by February.
Once finished, power will be sold and delivered to large industrial customers.
