This partnership will support the delivery of Evoenergy’s 2024–29 electricity network plan, approved by the Australian Energy Regulator.

The plan includes a 40% increase in capital expenditure to upgrade and expand the electricity network, enabling the ACT Government’s goal of net zero emissions by 2045.

Zinfra’s partnership will assist Evoenergy to deliver electricity projects that prepare the network for increased electrification of homes, businesses, and transport.

Evoenergy CEO John Knox said, Evoenergy’s investment in the electricity network is about more than infrastructure, it’s about enabling the ACT’s energy transition.

“This partnership will help us deliver the projects that ensure a continued safe and reliable network that meets the needs of our community.”
