The International OpenADR Symposium, “The Protocol for Distributed Energy Resources and the Future Grid”, will explore how global organisations standardise DR and DER communications, automate DR/DER processes, simplify customer energy management and reduce stranded assets. Multiple workshops will engage attendees on why standardised communications are critical to effectively scaling the future grid, and the importance of open, highly secure, two-way information exchange for dynamic pricing and reliability signals between utility, aggregator and DERs. The event is co-hosted with Southern California Edison.
