Energy Networks Australia has today announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board has decided that the Energy Networks 2020 Conference and Exhibition (EN2020) will be postponed. It is now expected to be held from October 14-16, 2020.

Energy Networks Australia CEO Andrew Dillon said Energy Networks thanks its member organisations, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, related energy industry suppliers and delegate tour partners for their support of EN2020 to date.

“We are very disappointed that it has been necessary to take this step and regret the inconvenience it may cause. However, the wellbeing of our stakeholders, their families and colleagues is our highest priority,” Mr Dillon said.

“We are working through all the relevant arrangements with our conference partners and hope that you will be able to participate in our new date.

“All existing registrations and arrangements will transfer to the new dates. Refunds will be provided to delegates who are unable to attend on the new dates.”

Mr Dillon added that the organisation is considering the implications of the pandemic for the Energy Networks Australia Regulation Seminar in July and Energy Networks Australia Annual Dinner and Awards in September. It will advise of any changes to these events in due course.

“We are working with our venues and supplier partners to ensure infection control measures are in place for all Energy Networks Australia activities,” Mr Dillon said.

“Thank you for your understanding.”
