ActewAGL’s online home electrification service, Electrify with ActewAGL, took out the top spot in the Innovation (established) category at the Australian Financial Review’s Energy Awards in October.
Launched in August 2024, the digital platform is Australia’s first comprehensive “one-stop-shop” for home electrification. It’s an integrated solution that simplifies and personalises the shift to energy efficient, all-electric living. ActewAGL partnered with technology company BOOM! Power to bring the service to life.

“Our customers told us they wanted a clear starting point for their electrification journey. Electrify with ActewAGL makes it easy for them to explore options that suit their needs, understand the benefits and take action,” ActewAGL group manager for energy transition products Todd Eagles, .
Since its launch, Electrify with ActewAGL has facilitated more than 1,300 electric appliance installations and 10,000 home electrification assessments across the ACT and south-east NSW. In addition to helping customers better navigate the complex task of electrifying their home, Electrify with ActewAGL matches customers with trusted installers, removing a key barrier to taking action.
ActewAGL Retail general manager Rachael Turner said, “Customers are looking for convenience and simplicity, and they’re approaching electrification pragmatically.”
