Queensland’s CleanCo has entered into a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GreenPoint Energy’s 600MW Jackson North Wind Farm—one of the largest wind farms in the Sunshine State.
Subject to further development milestones and shareholding minister approval, the PPA would see CleanCo purchase 100% of Jackson North’s renewable energy output.

The Jackson North Wind Farm is a landmark project for GreenPoint Energy. Located in Queensland’s Western Downs and co-located with existing agricultural and industrial land uses, it is positioned to deliver significant clean energy generation into the National Electricity Market.

Once operational, Jackson North will add significant new capacity as one of Queensland’s largest wind projects, generating enough clean energy to power over 360,000 Queensland homes.
Construction is targeted to begin in 2028, subject to the remaining approvals.
