Originally founded in Queensland with its manufacturing campus in Murarrie and distribution centre in Morningside, NOJA Power also has manufacturing operations in Brazil, Mexico and South Africa and global offices around the world to service the 106 countries that it exports to today.
NOJA Power’s in-house research and development team has produced Australian intellectual property in electrical switchgear, used to control the electricity distribution grid.
Founded on the principles of environmentally sustainable switchgear design, NOJA Power has innovated new methods of building switchgear that relies on non-toxic materials, instead of defunct industry standard materials such as SF6.
“The sustainability of NOJA Power switchgear aligns with the sustainability goals of electricity distribution utilities and renewable energy generators, while remaining price competitive with legacy competitor technologies,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
NOJA Power employs over 350 staff, with the company headquarters and manufacturing campus in Murarrie and Distribution Centre in Morningside on the Queensland Trade Coast.
